Pengaruh Metode Ummi Dalam Menunjang Kemampuan Membaca Al-Qur’an Siswa Di MDT Al-Hidayah Cicadas Sagalaherang Subang Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to; (1) Knowing the influence of the Ummi method at MDT Al-
Hidayah Cicadas Sagalaherang Subang Academic Year 2022/2023; (2) Knowing the supporting factors
for the implementation of the Ummi method at MDT Al-Hidayah Cicadas Sagalaherang Subang ; (3)
Knowing the inhibiting factors for the implementation of the Ummi method at MDT Al-Hidayah Cicadas
Sagalaherang Subang ; and (4) Finding a solution of the inhibiting factors for the implementation of the
Ummi method at MDT Al-Hidayah Cicadas Sagalaherang Subang . Data collection techniques obtained
through observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique is interpretive
descriptive. The results of the study revealed that: First, about the implementation of the Ummi method in
improving students' ability to read the Qur'an quite well, related to the methodology applied, from the
private / individual method, individual classical, individual classical reading refer to it and classical pure
reading reading. Second, the supporting factors are (a) good management; (b) standardization in learning
includes the time and methods used are good and sufficient; and (c) supporting facilities and infrastructure.
Third, the inhibiting factors are (a) lack of teacher discipline; (b) lack of student discipline when
participating in learning; and (c) the lack of teaching staff. Fourth, the solutions to the inhibiting factors
are (a) increasing supervision by management; (b) strict rules are made and continuously guided so that
they become more disciplined; and (c) add more teaching staff.
