Abstract

This research The background of this research is that the learning process in the classroom
takes place rigidly and is not pleasant, among others, there are demands on students to master the
material and facts, this also makes learning less meaningful, because mastery of the amount of material
does not necessarily guarantee understanding of the material they are learning. master it. There is an
influence of the Role play learning model on the formation of students' nationalism character in Civics
subjects after being tested using independent sample t hypothesis testing. Tests with the help of the SPSS
application obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, then Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded
that there is an influence of the Role play learning model on the formation of students' nationalism
character in Civics subjects. Meanwhile, based on the N-Gain hypothesis test, it can be seen that the
calculated t value is 1.519 < t table 1.701 at a significance level of 0.05 so that the decision is Ho is
accepted, Ha is rejected. This means that the Role play learning model has a major influence on the
formation of students' nationalistic character even though the N-Gain results are not significant.
