Abstract

The creation of humans in the Qur'an is that Allah created humans from clay, then created their
offspring from the despicable essence of water, then Allah perfected, breathed the spirit and made hearing,
sight and heart. Humans and education are two things that cannot be separated. Therefore, wherever humans
are, they will certainly need education. Based on the problems above, the researcher aims to examine the
concept of human creation contained in the letter as-sajdah verses 7-9. The views of the commentators
regarding the letter as-sajdah verses 7-9. The values of Islamic education are contained in the letter as-sajdah
verses 7-9. Islamic education concept. The relevance of human creation to Islamic education. This study uses
a qualitative approach and the type of library research (Library Research). The subject of this research is the
Qur'an and the book of interpretation. Data analysis techniques in this study are data collection, data
reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. This study resulted in five findings, namely 1) the
concept of human creation in Surah as-sajdah verses 7-9, namely there are 3 stages in the creation of humans,
namely the creation of humans from soil, then creates offspring from semen, then perfects, breathes the spirit
and gives the potential for hearing, sight and heart. 2) Surah as-sajdah verses 7-9 in the view of the
commentators explain the stages of human creation. 3) the values of Islamic education contained in the letter
as-sajdah verses 7-9, namely the value of faith education, and the value of moral education which includes
patience, humility and gratitude. 4) the concept of Islamic education is understood as an effort to transform
values in accordance with Islamic teachings by laying the legal basis for Islamic religion, namely the Qur'an
and the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad as the main reference. 5) The relevance of human creation to
Islamic education is seen from the creation of humans consisting of two elements, namely the spirit and soil
and from the purpose of human creation.
