PERAN TEMAN SEBAYA DALAM PEMBENTUKAN AKHLAK REMAJA

Abstract

This study aims to find out the role of peers in the formation of adolescent morals in Cimenteng
village. This research uses a qualitative approach using case study methods. Researchers act as key
instruments and observers. The research instruments used are using data collection techniques, interviews,
observations and documentation. Based on the results of interviews and observations of peer association
among the teenagers of Cimenteng village far from deviant association. They also don't forget the ethics of
getting along. The juvenile morals of Cimenteng village are dominant to mahmudah morals or noble morals.
Very few morals madzmumah owned by teenagers Cimenteng. Peer association factors are the same living
environment, one school, shared activities, the character or personality of good friends, extrovert traits,
participating in the same community organization, similarity of age and gender. The role of peers in the
formation of Cimenteng adolescent morals is to provide encouragement and motivation to other adolescents,
be models or examples of behaving for other adolescents, become agents of socialization, and teach social
skills to other adolescents. So that when he is friends with the good, he will be good, and vice versa. Efforts
